The first technical symposium on low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss materials was held in Chengdu.The article is from "Insulating Materials". On October 28th, the first Low Dielectric Constant and Low Dielectric Loss Materials Technology Symposium was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. This conference was hosted by Guilin Electrical Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. and jointly organized by Sichuan Dongda Technology Group Co., Ltd., National Engineering Research Center for Insulating Materials, and National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Development and Application of Insulating Materials for Power Generation and Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment. It brought together over 400 representatives and experts from upstream and downstream enterprises of the low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss materials industry chain, equipment and testing institutions, universities and research institutions to discuss the innovation directions and new application paths of low dielectric materials technology.
As a new generation of functional materials, low dielectric loss materials have demonstrated excellent dielectric properties and outstanding temperature stability in high-frequency environments above GHz. As a result, they have become key fundamental materials in high-end fields such as power electronics, artificial intelligence, 6G communication, advanced semiconductor packaging, and aerospace. Currently, although China has achieved some technical breakthroughs in this type of materials, there is still a significant technological gap in high-end applications. It is urgent to make breakthroughs in core aspects such as material system innovation and preparation processes. Therefore, conducting research and discussion on low dielectric material technology is of great significance for promoting technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading of low dielectric loss materials.

It not only shared cutting-edge technological achievements but also analyzed the bottlenecks in industrial development, jointly mapping out the future blueprint for low dielectric and low loss materials.
